Community Involvement

At Warner Custom Coating, we think it’s important to support the community that we do business in. As a result, we sponsor a wide variety of charitable, educational, health and youth-related organizations and initiatives. The following are just a few of our affiliations.

Guelph General Hospital & St. Joseph's Health Centre

Warner Custom Coating has been a major sponsor of the past two Guelph hospital campaigns. In the 1997 "Partners For Better Health Campaign", we helped to raise $76.4 Million for a construction project that would eventually expand the Guelph General Hospital and St. Joseph’s Health Centre.

In 2008, we joined forces again in support of the "MRI & More Campaign". In collaboration with other supporters, we raised $6 Million to purchase Guelph's first MRI machine, construct an Emergency Mental Health Unit in the hospital’s Emergency Room, and enhance services for Vascular Surgery.

Jessica’s Footprint

Warner Custom Coating is a proud sponsor of "Jessica’s Footprint: A Walk In The Park". The 5K annual fundraising walk is in memory of Jessica Durigon who lost her battle with brain cancer just days after her first birthday. Along with other corporate donors and individual walkers, we have helped to raise over $1,000,000 for pediatric brain tumour research at Sick Children’s Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Guelph Parkinson Society

Warner Custom Coating is a proud sponsor of Guelph's Annual "SuperWalk for Parkinsons". SuperWalk is the Parkinson Society of Canada's (PSC) largest national fundraiser event. Since 2000, SuperWalk has raised over $16 million for research, education, advocacy and support for the over 100,000 Canadians living with Parkinson's disease.

Guelph Youth Minor Sports

Organized minor sports continue to thrive in Guelph. Warner Custom Coating is pleased to be able to support the youth in our community through various team sponsorships.

University of Waterloo Racing

Hosted by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the Formula SAE is the largest and most competitive student vehicle design competition in the world. Warner Custom Coating supports the University of Waterloo’s Formula Motorsports Team by donating all powder coating related to the production of their race car frames.
